Are you looking for big-picture feedback? Is your manuscript ready for copy editing? I offer a variety of services.

An editorial assessment is a detailed report outlining the strengths of your manuscript and the areas that could benefit from reworking. It also includes suggested revisions to help get the manuscript ready for the next stage in the editing process.
An editorial assessment can save you time and money down the road.
I also offer assessments via Zoom for a lower fee.

A developmental edit focuses on the big-picture aspects of the manuscript, such as structure, pacing, and characterization.

Sometimes these edits are done separately, but often they’re completed simultaneously. At the stylistic and copy editing stage, the focus is on the language itself. These edits take into account consistency, overall flow, and mechanics (i.e., grammar, word choice, punctuation, and spelling).

This is the final polish before the manuscript is published. It’s often completed once the manuscript has been formatted.
I’m also available for consultation calls (phone or Zoom) to discuss your project and editorial needs.

I work closely with my clients to gain an understanding of their vision for their writing, so I can help them as they create stories that entertain, inform, and inspire.
I’m an Advanced Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and have over 15 years of experience editing both fiction and non-fiction.
I specialize in literary and contemporary fiction, spiritual and inspirational stories, and self-improvement books.
When I’m not editing, I’m usually reading for pleasure, practicing reiki, travelling near and far, or writing poetry and short stories.
